Description:
Clintech Solutions partners with healthcare providers to transform clinical data into standardised codes. This ensures accurate patient records, supports safe clinical care, and helps meet critical healthcare standards.
📋 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and flag incomplete or unclear clinical data.
- File documents accurately using EMIS, SystmOne or Docman.
- Apply coding with awareness of QOF and PCN DES targets.
- Escalate documents appropriately for clinical review.
- Contribute to audits and quality reviews.
- Maintain GDPR compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and SEAs.
- Communicate effectively and support colleagues as needed.
🎓 TRAINING & PROBATION:
- 1-month training on clinical systems (EMIS, SystmOne, Docman), coding protocols, and quality standards.
- 3-month probation as Junior Coder:
- Regular KPI monitoring, feedback, and mentoring.
- Promotion to full Coder role upon satisfactory performance.
✅ REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding standards (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to meet performance targets independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with NHS systems an advantage.
