Medical Biller

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Biller role based in Lahore. The Medical Biller will handle daily billing activities, including preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies, Medicare, and other payers. Responsibilities include verifying patient insurance coverage, ensuring the accurate application of ICD-10 codes, tracking claim status, and following up on unpaid or denied claims. The role also involves resolving billing discrepancies, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to support timely reimbursement. The Medical Biller will contribute to process improvement and uphold Groish’s standards for accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
Qualifications
 

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in billing processes.
• Practical experience working with ICD-10 codes and related documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, including commercial insurance plans.
• Familiarity with Medicare billing guidelines and payer-specific rules.
• Ability to analyze and manage denials, including identification of root causes and resolution strategies.
• Experience with medical billing software, electronic health records, or practice management systems.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and ability to manage high-volume workloads.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Prior experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare administration is preferred.
• Relevant education in healthcare, business, or
• related field, or equivalent practical experience.
