Job Requirements: Medical Billing Specialist – Acupuncture Practice experience preferred

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team and manage

billing operations for an acupuncture practice. If you have experience with medical billing,

especially in acupuncture or chiropractor or alternative medicine, and a strong understanding of

insurance claims and coding, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

 Process insurance claims. Claim submission and patient billing for acupuncture

 treatments

 Verify insurance eligibility, Authorization and benefits, coding review

 Follow up on claim denials and outstanding payments

 Maintain accurate patient billing records and ensure HIPAA compliance

 Collaborate with practitioners to ensure proper documentation

Requirements:

 Experience in medical billing (acupuncture experience preferred)

 Knowledge of CPT, Modifiers and ICD-10 codes related to acupuncture

 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

 Excellent communication skills
