Description:
We are seeking a Manager, Sustainability Services to support our expanding portfolio of projects. The coordinator will serve as a bridge between clients, partners, and internal teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects, stakeholder engagement, research, and communication.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Pakistan’s climate action and sustainability transformation, including work on GHG Protocol-based emissions accounting and IFRS Sustainability Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and partners.
- Own and manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Lead the planning and execution of workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder consultations on climate and sustainability topics.
- Proactively identify client needs and translate them into clear scopes of work and deliverables.
2. Client Outreach & Business Development
- Lead outreach to potential clients for CarbonTrack and other CFP services.
- Prepare and oversee proposals, pitch decks, and partnership materials in coordination with internal teams.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of organizations seeking ESG and IFRS-aligned sustainability reporting or carbon finance solutions.
- Contribute to strategic positioning of CFP’s sustainability services in the market.
3. Project Management & Delivery
- Plan, manage, and track multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams (research, product, operations, communications) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and budgets, and propose corrective actions where needed.
- Establish and maintain project documentation, work plans, and progress reports.
4. Research, Technical Support & Reporting
- Oversee and contribute to research on climate finance, sustainability, ESG, carbon markets, and IFRS sustainability standards (ISSB S1 & S2).
- Supervise emissions monitoring and reporting in alignment with the GHG Protocol and relevant international standards.
- Lead the preparation and review of sustainability reports compliant with IFRS/ISSB requirements and global ESG frameworks.
- Guide the development of background papers, policy briefs, and technical notes for projects and advocacy efforts.
- Ensure high-quality presentations and analytical reports for clients, donors, and stakeholders.
Where appropriate and reasonable, the position holder may perform additional tasks to support CFP’s evolving sustainability programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in climate, sustainability, or the development sector.
- Knowledge of GHG Protocol standards, carbon accounting, and IFRS Sustainability (ISSB S1/S2) reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; data visualization and emissions monitoring tools are an asset.
