Key Responsibilities:
✅ Material Planning & Control:
- Develop and implement strategies for material planning to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Liaison with vendors, commercial, and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Co-ordinate with Import, 3rd Sourcing, and Local Parts (PPC) for parts ordering as per OPSI (T-3 month base).
- Follow up for purchase order issuance & L/C opening in a timely manner.
- Monitor the whole process of CKD/3rd Source parts and custom clearance to ensure in-time arrival at HNR.
✅ Production Planning:
- Develop the Yearly Production Plan (Monthly Base) aligned with the Yearly Sales Plan, ensuring model-wise capacity utilization.
- Conduct OPSI Meetings to plan for T-3 month base sales requirements and parts ordering based on actual stock.
- Prepare Monthly Production Planning Data (Sales Plan, Parts Stocks, etc.) to finalize the Monthly Production Plan.
- Conduct T-1 Month Base Production Planning Meetings in coordination with Marketing, Production, Import & 3rd Source teams.
- Develop Daily and Monthly Production Plans to meet sales requirements while optimizing production efficiency (requires approval from Production & Marketing).
- Follow up and ensure material availability on a T-1 basis to maintain smooth production flow.
- Revise production plans as needed to incorporate sales requirement changes or material availability issues.
✅ Quality, Compliance & Process Optimization:
- Conduct parts audits & execute parts claims handling, ensuring follow-up for replacement parts from China.
- Ensure Material Environment & Line Management according to 6S Activity standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO internal audit standards.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize material planning and production operations.
Requirements:
🎓 Education: BSc. Mechanical / Electrical /Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
📅 Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, and production planning, preferably in the manufacturing or electronics industry.
🔹 Strong expertise in ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
🔹 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
🔹 Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Just-in-Time (JIT) principles is a plus.
