Manager Internal Audit

Description:

• Prepare and administer risk based annual audit plan.
• Plan and oversee audits of organization operations to assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
• Recommend revisions and/or additions to policies and procedures in order to improve operations as well as internal controls.

• Ensure that risk register is properly maintained, reviewed and updated along with control measures.
• Maintain a comprehensive system for recording all audit plans, work papers, findings, reports,and follow-up audits.

• Setting Internal Audit short and long term objectives aligned with organizational Objectives
• Insure the timely and accurate completion of the audit plan.
• Review audit work performed by staff for completion and accuracy.
• Draft and issue audit reports.
• Conduct special audits as required by management and issue results.
• Perform analysis or conduct projects as requested by the management, and provide consultative services to executives.
• Conducting investigations on irregularities and errors.
• Drafting recommendations on corrective measures.
• Remain competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as required.

 Qualification:

• CA/ACMA/CIMA/ACCA
• CIA, CISA (Preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience of internal audit works (3 years on managerial position)
• Experience to design & conduct risk based Internal Audit programmes/ERM
• Experience of risk appraisal and management techniques
• Experience of information system audits works (Preferred)
