EBR Energy, a leading name in Pakistan’s renewable energy sector, is currently hiring a Manager Design & Engineering (Solar) to join its expert team in Lahore. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for professionals with a strong background in designing Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, specifically for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) clients.

As the Manager of Design & Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the technical design process from concept to implementation. This includes system sizing, feasibility analysis, layout planning, electrical schematics, and performance modeling of solar energy systems. You will also oversee design validation, ensure compliance with international and local electrical codes, and coordinate closely with procurement and project execution teams.

You’ll be expected to leverage your engineering expertise to assess client requirements, conduct site assessments, and recommend optimal PV system solutions that align with both budget and energy performance goals. Your ability to use tools like PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and similar design software will be crucial for success in this role.

The position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree (BSc./BE) in Electrical Engineering and 4–5 years of hands-on experience in designing and engineering Solar PV solutions for commercial and industrial-scale installations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design projects in parallel are essential.
