Maintenance Manager

Description:

The Maintenance Manager will lead and manage the maintenance function for injection molding machines, molds, and related utilities. The role involves ensuring maximum equipment uptime, preventive maintenance execution, breakdown control, spare parts management, and team development, all while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for injection molding machines, molds, and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns to minimize unplanned downtime.

• Monitor mold and machine performance, identifying potential failures and suggesting solutions.

• Manage spare parts inventory to avoid disruptions in maintenance activities.

• Supervise auxiliary systems (chillers, compressors, dryers) to ensure optimal performance.

• Lead and develop the maintenance team through training programs and performance assessments.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and ISO standards.

• Collaborate with production and engineering on machine installations and improvements.

• Manage the annual maintenance budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.

• 10–15 years of experience in injection molding maintenance, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.

• Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems of injection molding machines.

• Experience with SAP/ERP systems for maintenance planning and reporting.
