Long Form Video Editor

Description:

HG Marketing Ltd is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Senior Long Form Video Editor to join its content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing, managing, and delivering high-quality long-form video content such as full-length podcast episodes. This role includes working with raw interview footage, enhancing audio quality, and preparing polished audio-visual content tailored to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the team to plan and manage long-form video projects while adhering to a deadline-driven content calendar.

• Edit and produce visually compelling and narrative-driven videos optimized for platforms like YouTube, focusing on engagement and viewer retention.

• Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, client expectations, and platform best practices.

• Implement team feedback and revise video content to maintain high production standards.

• Deliver content within assigned deadlines and company SOPs.

• Communicate proactively with the Podcast Manager regarding project progress, challenges, or needed revisions.

• Stay updated and aligned with internal task management systems like Notion and meet project timelines.

• Maintain flexibility in working hours when needed to accommodate project requirements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing polished, professional content.

• Prior experience in podcast editing or similar formats is a strong advantage.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.

• Strong storytelling abilities, effective communication, and teamwork skills.

• Awareness of podcasting trends and industry best practices is preferred.
