As a Librarian, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s library. This includes organizing, maintaining, and updating a wide collection of medical literature, journals, digital archives, and research materials critical to doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and researchers. The role requires expertise in library classification systems, cataloging standards, and digital information systems to ensure efficient access and retrieval of information.

Key duties include managing inventory, indexing new acquisitions, supporting users in finding information, coordinating with departmental heads for research and resource needs, and ensuring that the library complies with institutional and academic standards. The Librarian will also play a pivotal role in promoting the effective use of library resources and fostering a learning environment among hospital personnel.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational or healthcare institution.
