Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Providing legal advice to Management on business-related legal matters.
- Analyzing and interpreting laws, regulations, and policies impacting the company’s operations.
- Monitoring the current policies and systems in place and ensuring that they comply with legal and regulatory guidelines
- Managing legal disputes and representing the company in alternative dispute resolution processes and legal proceedings.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate legal risks to safeguard operational integrity.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to SECP Rules & Regulations, Companies Act, NBFC Rules & Regulations, and AML/CFT Act & Regulations.
- Conducting legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case laws. Summarize legal documents and present findings to the Management.
- Coordination with external legal counsel.
Qualification & Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Legal Studies.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in legal affairs.
- Working experience in compliance and corporate affairs will be an added advantage.
- Membership in Bar Association.
- In-depth knowledge of standards, practices, regulations, and laws pertaining to corporates, NBFCs, contracts, HR, etc.
- A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality & compliance
- Proficiency in legal research & use of legal database
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
