Learning Coordinator

 

Description:

The Learning Coordinator will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and strengthening learning activities at Khel, ensuring safe, inclusive, and engaging educational experiences for children.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily learning activities at Khel, including academic support, life skills, and recreational learning
  • Work closely with teachers, coaches, and facilitators to ensure quality and consistency in learning delivery
  • Support curriculum planning and age-appropriate learning activities for children across different grades
  • Monitor attendance, participation, and progress of children and maintain basic learning records
  • Ensure child safeguarding, protection, and ethical conduct standards are upheld at all times
  • Liaise with parents and community members to strengthen engagement and trust
  • Support reporting, documentation, and coordination with Imkaan’s program and operations teams

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience working in learning programs, community centres, or schools
  • Experience working with children from marginalized or low resource communities will be an advantage
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to work sensitively in community settings with empathy and patience
  • Commitment to child protection, inclusion, and dignity
