Lead Engineer

Description:

The role of the Lead Engineer covers two major areas:

1. Mobile App / Web Code Review

2. Mobile App / Web management

Mobile App / Web Code Review:

- Liason with the technical developers (both Mobile App/Web and Blockchain developers)

- Review the code drop of developers and ensure it follows the right coding principles and identify any areas for optimization within the code.

- Update the app in Google Playstore and deploy backend services on servers (if required)

- Align with product and development team to ensure the following are met:

o Sprint Goal / Deliverables

o User Stories / Issue completion

o Acceptance Criteria

- Remove any impediments with the development team from technical perspective to ensure smooth and timely delivery of the product.

- Test the features and functionality of the app thoroughly to ensure no or minimal bugs on the app when it it launched.

- Review the penetration and performance testing reports on the features before launching the app in production.

- Provide Technical Expertise to the team whenever required and should be hand-on with the code and libraries so that if required minor changes can be done in-house itself.

Mobile App / Web management:

- Monitor the app deployed in production and perform periodic test in production to ensure app is working as expected.

- Monitor the app performance, server utilization and any break points in production on daily basis to identify any problem.

- Provide the data to the product manager for the following reports (but no limited to) for the:

o New User Registration

o Total Users o Activity by Users (NFT Posted / Circles created)

o Revenue being generated (Buy / Sell NFT, advertisements, etc)

- Laise with the product manager to identify the root cause of any bug reported and identify the fix required to resolve the bug.

- Liase with the technical team to resolve the bug in timely manner and review the code and the fix done. Sign-off on the big / fixes from technical perspective.
