Lead Designer

Description:

As a Design Lead at Vertex IT Solutions, you will be responsible for defining and executing the overall design strategy across products and platforms. You will lead UI/UX initiatives, ensure design consistency, and collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-quality digital experiences.

This role requires a strong design thinker with leadership capabilities, deep expertise in UX/UI, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into simple and elegant user experiences. You will also mentor designers and contribute to building a strong design culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design strategy across web and mobile platforms
• Define, develop, and maintain scalable design systems and UI standards
• Translate business and product requirements into user-centered design solutions
• Conduct UX research, usability testing, and data-driven design improvements
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure design consistency, quality, and usability across all digital products
• Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Mentor and guide junior designers to improve team capability and output
• Improve user journeys, interaction flows, and overall product experience
• Stay updated with design trends, tools, and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design roles
• Proven experience in leading design teams or design projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, product design, and visual design skills
• Expertise in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
• Strong understanding of UX principles, design systems, and user behavior
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
