Syntax Resources, a leading HR consulting and training firm, is hiring a Laravel Developer on behalf of its reputed client in the software industry located in DHA, Lahore. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Laravel developer to join a talented and agile team, working on cutting-edge web technologies and backend infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications and eager to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have solid command over Laravel and be experienced in building REST APIs, managing queues, and handling real-time features using WebSockets.

Primary Tech Stack Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with the following technologies and tools:

• Laravel (latest stable version)

• Laravel Horizon – for managing job queues and workers via Redis

• Laravel Reverb / WebSockets – for real-time broadcasting and event handling

• MySQL & PostgreSQL – database schemas, migrations, indexing, and query optimization

• REST APIs – API versioning, authentication, third-party integrations

• GitHub – good practices in branching, pull requests, and commit structure

• ClickUp / Jira – familiar with agile project management tools

• AI Tools – using ChatGPT / Claude AI for code optimization, refactoring, and testing support

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain the Laravel-based backend architecture of applications

• Design and build efficient, secure, and scalable REST APIs for web and mobile platforms

• Implement and maintain real-time features using Laravel Reverb / WebSockets

• Set up and manage Laravel job queues using Laravel Horizon and Redis

• Participate in technical solution design, feature scoping, and project planning

• Guide frontend and mobile teams on backend logic and API integrations

• Optimize database structures and write performant SQL queries

• Follow GitHub workflows and collaborate with the team using ClickUp/Jira

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of hands-on Laravel development experience in production environments

• Strong understanding of Laravel Queues and Laravel Horizon

• Experience with real-time broadcasting tools like Reverb / WebSockets / Pusher

• Ability to independently develop complete backend API layers with proper documentation

• Proficient in software architecture, modular coding standards, and DRY principles

• Familiarity with setting up GitHub workflows and deployment pipelines

• Demonstrates strong communication skills, initiative, and technical leadership

Job Type:

• Full-Time

• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

• Work Mode: On-site only (no remote option)

Work Location:

• Temporary Office (1–2 months): DHA Phase 3, Y Block Commercial, Lahore

• Permanent Office: DHA Phase 8, Broadway Commercial, Lahore

Candidate must be willing to work on-site at both locations.
