ABOUT THE ROLE Recruiffy is hiring a Business Development Executive on behalf of a client running a US-based trucking and freight operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, onboarding brokers and shippers, and growing the client's freight portfolio. This is a sales-focused role requiring confidence, persistence, and a strong understanding of the US logistics market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and approach potential brokers, shippers, and freight clients in the US market
- Make outbound calls and send emails to generate new leads and business opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with brokers and freight partners
- Negotiate freight contracts, rates, and service agreements
- Onboard new clients and ensure smooth handover to the dispatch team
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and update CRM records regularly
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for calls, leads, and conversions
- Coordinate with the dispatch and operations team to ensure client satisfaction
- Research US freight market trends, lanes, and competitor activity
- Represent the company professionally in all client-facing communications
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–12 months of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
- Prior experience in US trucking, freight, or logistics industry is a strong advantage
- Excellent English communication skills — spoken and written
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
- Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and TMS platforms is a plus
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
- Ability to work US business hours (night shift Pakistan time)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
