Junior Research Analyst

Description:

Mishkat Ventures, an emerging venture capital firm based in Karachi, Pakistan, is looking for a dynamic and analytical Junior Research Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are early in their careers, with one to two years of experience, and possess a strong foundation in finance or corporate finance.

*Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, financial statements, and investment opportunities.

* Assist in the development of investment theses and the execution of due diligence processes.

* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

* Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate and monitor the performance of portfolio companies.

* Stay updated on industry developments and provide insights on potential impacts to the portfolio.

*Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (BBA/MBA) with a focus on Finance or Corporate Finance from a recognized university.

* Alternatively, possession of professional finance qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or CFA (Level 1 or Level 2) or other relevant certifications.

* 1-2 years of experience in a related field. Applicants with experience beyond two years are considered overqualified for this junior position.

* Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills.

* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
