Junior Netwrok Administrator

Description:

The Junior Network Administrator supports the management, maintenance, and monitoring of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role assists in ensuring reliable network performance, security, and connectivity across all IT systems while providing technical support for network-related issues. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues • Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure and network security • Manage and maintain AWS virtual machines (EC2) and cloud networking • Configure security groups, VPC settings, and basic cloud monitoring • Maintain documentation of network and cloud configurations • Assist with backup and disaster recovery procedures Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN • Experience with Cisco, MikroTik, or similar networking devices • Basic experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, Security Groups) • Knowledge of network security and firewall configuration • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Experience • 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar technical role. • Hands-on exposure to LAN/WAN/AWS environments and network troubleshooting. • Experience assisting with configuration and maintenance of network devices.
