Junior Merchant Onboarding Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a Junior Merchant Onboarding Specialist who will focus on onboarding restaurants, cafés, and venues to Egora’s Reservation App. You will be responsible for ensuring each merchant is set up correctly, trained to use the system, and confident in managing reservations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, understands hospitality workflows, and can explain tech in a simple, friendly way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide new venues through the Reservation App onboarding process.
• Collect and upload merchant information including business details, table layouts, and booking preferences.
• Train restaurant and café staff on using the app (both in person and online).
• Troubleshoot setup issues and provide timely support.
• Ensure every merchant has a smooth go-live experience.
• Gather feedback from merchants to improve the onboarding experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain software clearly to non-technical users.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple onboardings at once.
• Prior experience in hospitality, app merchant onboarding, or customer support is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, IT, or a related field preferred.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
