Description:
Sarmuz Investments Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and accounting records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial data.
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by the Manager Accounts & Finance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other office tools.
