- Input uncut rushes and sound, and synchronize and store them into files on the computer.

- Create a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determine the exact cutting for the next and final stages.

- Possess outstanding organizational skills. Your organization drives your ability to successfully edit video and meet deadlines.

- The editor can also add special effects or filters to the video.

- Maintain and review organizational video and audio assets.
