Jr. Designer

Description:

Penumbra is looking for a creative, dedicated individual to join our team as a Jr. Designer, to work with our Creative Team.

The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with great teamwork skills, who will be responsible for the design, layout and formatting of materials that integrate typographic, photographic, illustrative and graphic elements, on a variety of projects, which may potentially include presentations, infographics, illustrations, collateral, advertisements, logos, corporate identity, and web/mobile sites.

Responsibilities:

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
• Follow creative direction as well as brand guidelines
• Prioritize and manage projects within design specifications and time restrictions
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or experience in a related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Familiarity with After Effects or similar platform is a plus
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent eye for detail
