Role Description:

Business Technologies (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This on-site role requires availability during US working hours. The Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in software development, programming, and microservices. Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices and cloud technologies, particularly AWS, is crucial. Additionally, experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.

Key Qualifications:

Strong software development and programming skills.

Proficiency in Java programming.

Experience working with Microservices architecture.

Proficient in the Spring Framework.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

A team player with excellent communication skills.

Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Prior experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the design, development and maintenance of Java-based software solutions.

Implement and manage Microservices architecture in accordance with industry best practices.

Utilize the Spring Framework to build robust and scalable applications.

Contribute to the deployment and management of applications on cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

Leverage containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for efficient software deployment.

Work in a dynamic team environment, adhering to Agile methodologies where applicable.
