Java Developer

Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our Engineering team. This is a remote role, but only Lahore-based candidates should apply.

Experience Required:
3 to 4 years of hands-on Java development experience.

Technical Skills Required:
Java 8 or above, Java 17 preferred
Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Integration
RESTful Web Services
AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS
MongoDB
ElasticSearch and Apache Solr
Neo4j Graph DB familiarity
JUnit and Mockito
Git and CI/CD pipelines
Agile/Scrum methodologies
JIRA for task and project tracking

Required Skills:
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong eagerness to learn
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good written and spoken English communication
Ability to resolve technical problems and make practical trade-offs
Ability to plan and adopt new technologies when needed

Responsibilities:
Develop software according to requirements, performance standards, and best practices
Design and develop RESTful APIs
Work on scalable microservices
Write clean, quality code with minimal rework
Create and perform unit and integration tests
Support impact analysis for software change requests
Convert business requirements into working applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies
