Jasper Report Builder Intern

Description:

We are seeking a motivated Jasper Report Builder Intern to join our team. The intern will work closely with our development and reporting teams to design, build, and maintain JasperReports for business operations and client reporting needs. This internship offers hands-on experience in reporting, data visualization, and database integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, and testing reports using JasperReports and Jaspersoft Studio.

Work with SQL/PLSQL queries to fetch, transform, and validate data for reporting.

Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to understand reporting requirements.

Modify and maintain existing reports as per business needs.

Perform debugging and troubleshooting of report issues.

Support data validation and ensure accuracy of generated reports.

Document report development processes and create user guides when necessary.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

Basic knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Familiarity with JasperReports or willingness to learn.

Understanding of Java-based applications is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.
