It Technician

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician/ IT Support to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate should have 2- 3 years of experience and will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing the backend and frontend of the websites and our online portal, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems. You’ll be required to liaise with multiple departments to understand their technical needs, anticipate problems they are or could be facing, and provide efficient solutions to them.

 

The Tasks:

● Provide technical support and troubleshooting for maintaining the backend and front end of our twin websites and an online portal.

● Administer Microsoft accounts, including user management, password resets, access control, content updates, and security checks, especially for our Microsoft 365 package including official email addresses of the whole organization.

● Keep a track record of the overall performance optimization for all platforms.

● Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.

● Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and compatible updates if required.

● Monitor system performance and security and take appropriate action to address issues.

● Collaborate with other teams and departments to support IT projects and initiatives.

● Document and maintain IT systems and procedures.

● Provide IT training and guidance to our relevant teams (like HR, Administration, and Comms.) to enhance the efficiency of our digital presence.

● Anticipate problems and provide effective solutions to resolve those issues instantly.

● Perform tests on new hardware and software.
