Description:

We are in search of an enthusiastic IT support professional specializing in IT & networking to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to assist individuals and guide them through the installation process. To thrive in this role, you should leverage your knowledge and expertise in core IT/networking, possess the ability to quickly learn new technologies, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating more complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.

• Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to ensure optimal system performance.

• Conduct training sessions for employees on new systems, software, and technologies.

• Implement and maintain security measures, including data backups, antivirus, and access controls.

• Create and update IT documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.

• Manage IT inventory, including hardware and software assets, and coordinate procurement when needed.

• Work closely with other IT team members to address complex issues and contribute to the overall improvement of IT processes.

• Monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide insights to improve IT infrastructure.

• Assist users with IT-related queries, ensuring a positive and efficient support experience.

 

Requirements:

 

• Basic programming experience.

• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

• Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.

• The ability to write reports and proposals if necessary.

• Excellent teamwork, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, encryption technologies, Windows Active Directory and Office

applications.

• Ability to install, configure & maintain Windows operating systems.

• Ability to automate tasks by scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, batch)

• Ability to configure the Registry and file system.

• Windows Server and VMWare experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
