Description:

Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, a leading name in the financial and insurance sector, is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Head to join their team. This critical leadership role involves overseeing the end-to-end implementation of core business applications that drive the company’s digital transformation and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale IT projects, especially those related to FinTech, financial services, and insurance applications. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout, integration, and adoption of business-critical software solutions, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment to post-implementation support.

  • Manage cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

  • Drive core business application implementations with a focus on FinTech and insurance domains.

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted project progress.

  • Coordinate system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and operational consistency across multiple platforms.

  • Establish and enforce project governance standards, policies, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with senior management to align IT projects with strategic business objectives.

  • Ensure continuous improvement by reviewing project outcomes and implementing lessons learned.

  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project status.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of comprehensive experience in IT project management with hands-on involvement in project delivery.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial position, demonstrating the ability to lead diverse teams.

  • Proven track record in successful rollout of core business applications in FinTech, financial services, or insurance sectors.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, system integration, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and technical teams.
