FIT Solutions is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Officer for its Karachi-based operations. This is a night shift role, ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take immediate ownership of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and network administration.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT operations across the organization. This position requires leadership in managing IT systems, enforcing security protocols, resolving system/network issues, and mentoring junior IT staff. Key Responsibilities:

🚀 IT Management & Infrastructure Oversight:

• Lead and manage daily IT operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.

• Administer system, network, and technical maintenance tasks.

• Implement infrastructure upgrades and IT improvements.

• Manage IT assets, vendor relationships, and related budgets.

🔐 Information Security & Risk Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain security protocols and policies.

• Conduct risk assessments and lead incident response efforts.

• Ensure IT systems comply with industry standards like NIST and ISO 27001.

🌐 Network & Systems Administration:

• Configure and maintain routers, firewalls, VPNs, and access points.

• Troubleshoot network/system-level problems efficiently.

• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.

👥 Team Leadership & Support:

• Guide and mentor junior IT staff.

• Coordinate with other departments for cross-functional IT planning.

• Develop documentation and conduct user training sessions.

Requirements:

🎓 Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCNA, MCSA, CEH.

🛠️ Experience & Technical Skills:

• 2–4 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity.

• Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, firewall configuration, and endpoint protection (EDR/XDR).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is an added advantage.
