Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Bidder / Proposal Executive with 2–3 years of experience in international IT bidding, proposal development, and sales coordination. The candidate will actively support and manage bidding activities for government and public-sector IT tenders in the US, Canada, and Europe. The role requires strong skills in sales communication, proposal writing, and tender negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Bidding Activities
- Identify and pursue international IT tender opportunities on portals such as SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, Buyandsell.gc.ca, MERX, and TED (EU).
- Support the sales pipeline by researching opportunities, pre-qualifying tenders, and preparing bid plans.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to align proposals with business strategy and client needs.
- Assist in pricing strategy preparation in coordination with sales and finance teams.
Proposal Writing & Documentation
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals, including company profiles, capability statements, and compliance documents.
- Draft clear, structured, and persuasive proposal responses based on tender requirements.
- Maintain a repository of proposal templates, certifications, case studies, resumes, and sales collateral.
Client Coordination & Negotiation
- Communicate with clients, contracting officers, and partners for tender clarifications and pre-bid discussions.
- Support negotiation activities related to pricing, terms, and compliance in coordination with senior sales staff.
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and follow-up discussions during the bidding process.
Tender Management
- Review RFPs/RFQs to analyze scope, requirements, eligibility, and evaluation criteria.
- Track tender deadlines, amendments, Q&A updates, and submission status.
- Ensure all proposals comply with tender instructions, formatting standards, and quality checklists.
- Manage submission on procurement portals and ensure timely delivery of all required documents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business (mandatory).
- 2–3 years of experience in IT bidding, proposal writing, sales support, or business development.
- Strong understanding of RFPs, RFQs, tender processes, and government procurement basics.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills, especially for business and technical proposals.
- Strong document management, MS Word, and PDF formatting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple bids, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to coordinate with teams and clients across US/Canada/Europe time zones.
