Internal Audit Officer

South City Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd., one of the most advanced tertiary care hospitals in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a committed Internal Audit Officer to join its professional team. The Internal Audit Officer will be responsible for evaluating hospital departments to ensure that all internal controls are functioning effectively, identifying areas for improvement, and presenting actionable audit reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits across hospital departments to assess compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations

• Evaluate the efficiency of internal control systems and propose enhancements

• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and action plans

• Support risk assessments and audit planning efforts

• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations

• Coordinate with department heads to resolve audit findings

• Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and integrity

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• 2–3 years of internal audit experience (preferably in healthcare)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Relevant certifications such as CA (Inter), ACCA (part-qualified), or CIA are preferred
