As Manager Internal Audit, you will be responsible for leading and executing internal audit engagements, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and enhancing internal control frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal audit assignments across departments in accordance with ICBC’s audit plan and regulatory guidelines

  • Assess and evaluate internal control systems, identify weaknesses, and recommend actionable improvements

  • Monitor compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and international best practices

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings and practical recommendations for process improvement

  • Collaborate with department heads and management teams to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations

  • Keep abreast of changes in banking regulations and compliance standards

  • Assist in the development and refinement of audit methodologies and tools

  • Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections


Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, or CA Finalist (preferred)

  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in internal audit, internal control, or risk assurance in the banking or financial services sector

  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, audit frameworks, and compliance regulations

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with audit tools/software is a plus

  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
