Instructor Chemistry

Description:

1. Teach Chemistry curriculum classes as per syllabi breakdown and agreed modalities.

2. Plan, design and teach Chemistry lessons based on interactive and demonstrative methods. These planned lessons should be in a structured sequence to spark and enhance interest of the subject among students.

3. Develop effective, formative, and summative assessment tools to report on the progress of all students and educational programs

4. Participate in student recruitment, registration and placement activities.

5. Train Laboratory staff and prepare all the laboratory manuals. Supervise and monitor the chemistry laboratory. Prepare and plan for chemistry laboratory to keep record of all the apparatuses, chemicals etc.

6. Contribute effectively to the corporate life of the campus by taking a leading role in clubs and societies etc.

7. Contribute ideas to the preparation of an annual budget for Chemistry department/ laboratory.

8. Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and blended learning.

9. Participate positively in all professional development programs as prescribed and or agreed.

10. Other duties as required by Principal Akhuwat College Kasur.

Qualification:

BS / M Sc/ MPhil Chemistry. B.Ed./M.Ed. degree holders will be preferred

Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience of teaching higher secondary / Intermediate classes
