Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender & Proposal Management: Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and customer requirements thoroughly.
Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including detailed BOQs, architecture diagrams, and compliance documents.
Ensure all submissions are accurate, professionally formatted, and meet all tender requirements and deadlines.
Participate in the e-bidding and procurement portal processes for government and enterprise clients.
2. Technical & Pre-Sales Support: Engage with clients to gather and assess network and system requirements.
Conduct site surveys and translate business needs into scalable network and infrastructure designs.
Support the sales team in technical meetings, presentations, and RFP clarifications.
Create detailed solution presentations, implementation plans, compliance sheets, and diagrams (e.g., using Visio).
Propose solutions involving network security, routing/switching, firewalls, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, and server infrastructure.
Assist in selecting appropriate hardware/software solutions (e.g., Cisco, HPE, Fortinet, Microsoft, VMware, etc.).
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external OEMs to finalize the best-fit solution in terms of performance, cost, and compliance.
3. Vendor & OEM Coordination: Work with OEMs, vendors, and suppliers to gather up-to-date product specs, datasheets, and pricing.
Ensure compatibility of third-party components with the proposed solution architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in pre-sales or solution design for IT infrastructure (networking, servers, storage, security, etc.).
Strong technical knowledge in:
Networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
System Administration (Windows/Linux Server, AD, DNS, DHCP)
Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Network & endpoint security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, etc.)
Proficient in proposal creation tools: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Experience with public sector tenders, procurement portals, and compliance processes.
Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
