Description:
We are seeking an experienced Informatica BDM professional to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Teradata, SQL, and Linux environments, along with hands-on experience in data warehousing, migration, and big data ecosystems. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data integration solutions, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Informatica BDM.
- Write optimized Teradata SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Perform data migration and warehousing activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Use Teradata utilities (TPT / TDCH) for high-volume data movement.
- Automate workflows and processes using Linux/Shell scripting.
- Work with Cloudera ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark) to handle big data processing.
- Manage and leverage object storage solutions (on-premises or cloud) for large datasets.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement robust solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in ETL jobs, data pipelines, and integration processes.
