Import Manager

Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Import Sales & Operations Manager to join our growing logistics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing import business, managing client relationships, and overseeing end-to-end operations for inbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and manage import sales leads through strong market networking.

• Develop relationships with international agents, consignees, and importers.

• Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate freight rates.

• Coordinate with carriers, customs, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.

• Oversee all import documentation and operational processes.

• Work closely with management to achieve monthly sales and profit targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding (import division).

• Strong understanding of INCOTERMS, sea & air freight operations, and customs clearance.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage clients independently from inquiry to delivery.

• Self-motivated with a passion for achieving results.
