Description:

Responsibilities : 

1.    To be responsible  for planned and unplanned maintenance activities of   Hotel   systems,  i.e. HVAC   Systems, Refrigeration Systems and Heating systems and to assist the Kitchen Equipments, Laundry Machines, Electrical Systems, Elevators, Plumbing fixtures etc .
2.    Will be responsible to carry out the weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, half yearly maintenance of all Hotel systems.
3.    Will be responsible for all calibrations, adjustments and major repairs & maintenance activities of all hotel system.
4.    To be responsible to ensure that all unplanned jobs are attended according to their priorities.
5.    To be responsible to perform all administrative duties of shift Engineer in their absence and when assigned shift duties.
6.    Will maintain Log book and unplanned maintenance registers and preventive maintenance registers.
7.    Will be responsible for safety of all plants, machines, equipment's and building.
8.    Will be responsible to prepare the guest rooms and in such a way that guest rooms are checked three times a year and V.I.P suites every month.
9.    Will be responsible to prepare the maintenance schedule for Public areas are checked four times a year.                    
10.    Will be responsible for blocking of guest rooms and drawing keys and returning keys of guest rooms.
11.    Must be willing to attend emergencies.
12.    Must be a good volunteer fire fighter.
13.    Will be responsible to maintain high standard of cleanliness in all areas used by Engineering Department
14.    To report to the HVAC Engineer on a daily basis to discuss the progress of previous day's work and to plan the future work.
15.    To ensure that all accidents suffered by guests or staff of the Serena care personnel are reported to the chief Engineer as per the laid down procedure.
16.    Will be responsible to maintain and manage al1 works related items with the store keeper after prior discussion with the chief Engineer and Maintenance Engineer.
17.    To be responsible to carry out all other renovation and alteration works as directed by Chief Engineer.
18.    Must be looking smart appearance and clean dress all the time.
19.    Must have a clear understanding of Hotel’s staff Hand Book and regulations started within.
20.    To be responsible to carry out the regular checking and planned maintenance as directed by Chief Engineer.
21.    Any other job assigned by Chief Engineer or immediate supervisor.
22.    Will   be responsible   for the   safety of   all plant, machines, equipments and building and position of guest against accidents.
23.    To keep and maintain an accurate record of the consumable for Engineering Services and caution the store keeper of Engineering  store for any short run and to give a continuous status on daily or weekly basis to Chief Engineer.
24.    To ensure that all spare parts are used in economical manner and keep in touch with Engineering store keeper for issue and return control of the same.
25.    Will be responsible to check the daily operation and maintenance of chillers, boilers, water softener, pumps, swimming pool equipments, laundry and kitchen equipments, cold rooms, generator etc.
26.    Will be responsible to collect and return the salvages to Engineering store after the inspection of Chief Engineer
