Energy Futures Consulting is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Projects to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal in driving company strategy, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering high-impact energy solutions across demand-side efficiency, renewable energy, and microgrids.
✅ Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for both strategic leadership and operational excellence, including:
🌟 Team & Project Leadership
- Lead, manage, and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers and consultants across:
- Energy Efficiency (EE) audit and optimization projects.
- Renewable Energy (RE) consulting and design assignments (Solar PV, Wind, Hybrid).
- Microgrid & BESS project development and feasibility studies.
- Oversee project execution from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are met.
📊 Resource Planning & Development
- Identify project-specific and long-term resource needs.
- Drive recruitment efforts, onboarding, and team structuring.
- Develop and implement continuous training plans tailored to technical and soft skill development.
📝 Quality Assurance
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in all technical deliverables:
- Energy audit reports.
- Engineering design packages (including SLDs, BOQs, Yield Reports, Layouts).
- Financial and feasibility analysis reports.
- Establish internal quality review mechanisms for documentation and project outputs.
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead high-level interactions with client senior management and C-suite executives in commercial and industrial sectors.
- Present findings, strategies, and project progress with confidence and clarity.
- Develop long-term client relationships based on trust, impact, and delivery quality.
🧭 Strategic Involvement
- Actively participate in shaping the company’s strategy and direction.
- Collaborate with other department heads to align technical excellence with business development, innovation, and growth.
- Contribute to internal process improvement and organizational development initiatives.
🧑🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems, Energy Management, or Clean Energy.

- Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), LEED AP, PMP, or similar.
- Certifications in Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, or Green Building (e.g., GBCI, RETScreen, etc.).
Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in energy consulting or engineering.
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
- Prior experience in client-facing roles, ideally with exposure to C&I sector stakeholders.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of power systems, energy audits, solar PV design, hybrid systems, and grid-interfacing solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy.
- Problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on delivery excellence and innovation.
