Head Of Investment Readiness & Partnerships

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Head of Investment Readiness & Partnerships for a prospective upcoming incubator in Islamabad. The key role will be to accelerate the financial and strategic growth of startups in this Islamabad-based incubator. You will lead the development of investment programs, manage a robust investor network (VCs, Angels, DFIs), and drive strategic partnerships to unlock capital, resources, and market access for our ventures. This is a full-time leadership role reporting to the Project Director.

Key Responsibilities

I. Investment & Deal Flow Leadership

Design and implement intensive investment readiness programs (financial modeling, valuation, pitching, term sheet negotiation) for incubated startups.

Oversee deal flow management, ensuring high-potential startups are identified and prepared for funding.

Lead the preparation and execution of Demo Days and Investor Showcases.

Work with founders to refine business models and fundraising strategies (equity, debt, grants).

Maintain a startup investment database and portfolio tracker.

II. Investor & Partnership Management

Build and manage relationships with Angel Investors, Venture Capital firms, Corporate Funds, and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) in Pakistan and globally.

Facilitate investment matchmaking between startups and potential investors.

Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with accelerators, donor-funded programs, corporates, and government bodies for co-investment and market access.

Represent the incubator at investor conferences and global ecosystem forums.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Entrepreneurship (MBA preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a relevant field such as Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Startup Acceleration/Ecosystem Development.

Expertise: Strong understanding of fundraising processes, startup financing instruments, and deal structuring.

Network: Demonstrated network within the Angel and VC community in Pakistan and internationally.

Track Record: Proven success in partnership development and program leadership
