The Head of Business at Safepay will drive the company’s revenue growth, strategic partnerships and market expansion. This role demands a results-driven leader who can translate vision into measurable outcomes, strengthen commercial performance and build enduring business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth
- Formulate and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and lead expansion into emerging segments.
- Develop pricing, partnerships and sales models to maximize profitability.
Revenue & Performance Management
- Set and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee key business units to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
- Track business performance through metrics, analytics and forecasting tools.
Partnerships & Alliances
- Build strategic relationships with banks, fintechs, vendors, and regulators.
- Negotiate and close commercial deals that create long-term value.
- Represent the company at industry forums and external engagements.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor sales, partnerships and business development teams.
- Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration between operations, finance and product.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Monitor market trends, competitor moves and customer insights.
- Drive innovation in product offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Recommend investments or partnerships to sustain competitive advantage.
Must haves:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in business leadership preferably in fintech, banking or digital services.
- Proven record of achieving revenue growth and strategic expansion.
- Strong understanding of financial models, market dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
