Graphic Designer

Description:

We’re looking for a passionate Graphics designer to join our fast-growing team as we build a fashion brand dedicated to celebrating and empowering the hijab-wearing woman.

The Graphics Designer will be the key driver in the development of The Hijab Company creative production in producing unique fresh ideas on web designs, email designs, digital and print artwork for various marketing channels ensuring creative projects are delivered within budget and on-time.

Responsibilities

You will be handling both creative and distribution elements of our marketing needs alongside the Content Marketing Manager. This role requires you to be a self-starter and flourish with confidence in your professional work ethic, English literacy, communication, organization and documentation.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines.
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
• Implementation of written and verbal briefs

Qualification and Skills required:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Minimum of two or more years of experience in advertising and digital design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web.
• Ability to communicate design concepts and ideas clearly and simply.
• Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
• Time management skills
• Portfolio of work
