Description:
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Qualifications
- 16 years of education
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography and design skills
- Experience in Editorial Design is preferred (books, reports, presentations, eBooks, cover pages, flyers, etc.)
Creative:
- Must be able to create exemplary designs as per the project requirements and meet deadlines effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
English Comprehension:
- Must be able to comprehend clients' instructions
Can-do attitude:
- Must be able to troubleshoot any issues or search over the internet to fix/comply with specific instructions
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience as a graphic designer and a portfolio (can be as a freelancer or with a firm)
Preferred Experience:
- CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE IN DESIGNING BOOKS, REPORTS, MAGAZINES, PRESENTATIONS, COVER PAGES, ETC, WILL BE PREFERRED
Software Skills:
- Must have advanced level skills in at least two of these software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint
