Description:
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience, (ideally in digital agency, or background in GR/PR, strategic communications, journalism) in addition to a degree or diploma in graphic design.
- ‘Versatility’ is your middle name: whether creating an original campaign or brand identity, producing content for social, prepping print files for a transit shelter ad, creating website mock-ups or building a client-ready presentation in powerpoint, you’re ready to pivot as needed.
- You have a strategic mindset about the whole project and aren’t afraid to contribute to brainstorming and concept development.
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy explaining the “why” behind your design choices.
- You like to experiment with new platforms and technology -- tweaking processes and testing your work in new ways excites you.
- You build on creative direction and briefs (written or spoken) and translate them into impactful designs that connect to the objective and fit the medium.
- Your attention to detail and thoughtful execution extends to production skills create a cohesive design system across social, digital and print
- You want to learn new things, hone your skills, and develop new ones to stay on top of emerging design and marketing trends.
- You may be described as detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud especially Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop (proficiency in After Effects, Premiere or XD are a bonus).
- Strongly demonstrated skill in graphic design and typography
- Experience following and extrapolating from brand standards for a variety of clients
- Understanding of how to apply feedback in a holistic sense, making changes that anticipate client needs and pivot design when necessary
- Produce high-quality designs to spec for a range of formats including: social media, digital display, videos, out-of-home and print ads.
- Ability to multitask, shift priorities and work well under pressure
- Contribute to conceptual development with thoughtful, engaging, innovative design and ideas that meet outlined objectives.
- Self-motivated and well-organized with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
ADDITIONAL QUALIIFICATIONS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Any level of motion graphic/animation skill or video production - are you a secret TikTok star, dabbler in documentaries, obsessive about reels/lives/fleets? Tell us about it!

- Though not required, a solid understanding of HTML/CSS or background in UX design would be beneficial.
- Illustration, hand lettering or artistic skills that you can use to level up your designs and use to bring original flair to our projects would be welcome!
