Core Responsibilities


Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the graphic design team members, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and facilitating communication.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to gather project requirements, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain effective communication throughout the design process.
Design Direction: Offer creative direction, feedback, and guidance to team members to ensure that designs align with the brand's visual identity and objectives.
Quality Control: Review and approve design work to ensure it meets established standards of quality, consistency, and creativity.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of design strategies and long-term plans to align with the company's overall goals and marketing initiatives.
Problem Solving: Address design-related challenges and find solutions to issues that may arise during projects, while ensuring smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, encourage idea sharing, and facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design concepts.
Skill Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for skill improvement within the team, promoting continuous learning and growth.
Client Communication: Interact with clients or stakeholders to gather feedback, discuss project requirements, and present design concepts or solutions.
Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software tools, and design techniques, and share knowledge with the team to ensure the use of cutting-edge design practices, such as AI.
Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, including budgets, software/tools, and team members, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement or recognition within the team.
Workflow Optimization: Implement and refine design processes to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and enhance the overall design output.
Risk Management: Anticipate potential challenges or risks in design projects and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on team performance, project status, and key design metrics for management review.


Skills & Abilities


Graphic Design Proficiency: A deep understanding of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and composition to provide creative direction, feedback, and guidance to the team.
Software Mastery: Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
Creative Direction: Ability to provide clear and effective creative direction to the design team, ensuring that design concepts align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide the design team while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design ideas, present concepts to clients or stakeholders, and facilitate team discussions.
Project Management: Experience in project management, including task delegation, timeline management, resource allocation, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strategic Thinking: Capability to align design initiatives with broader marketing and business strategies, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify design challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions that positively impact project outcomes.

3+ years of Relevant Industry Experience of visual communication design (advertising related)
