Geographic Information Systems Manager

Description:

Union Developers is looking for a GIS Manager to lead the GIS Section of its Land Department, overseeing mapping and spatial data initiatives for housing projects in and around Lahore District.

🔹 Key Responsibilities 🔹

1️⃣ Manage GIS operations and ensure timely delivery of mapping outputs.

2️⃣ Liaise with PULSE, GIS departments of LDA, RUDA, DHA Lahore, Urban Unit and PLRA to ensure alignment and collaboration.

3️⃣ Source GIS-based revenue maps of Mauzas related to housing projects.

4️⃣ Prepare GIS maps and overlap maps in line with town planning requirements.

🔹 Qualifications 🔹

1️⃣ BS/BSc in GIS or related field (HEC recognized, 16 years of education).

2️⃣ MS/MSc or higher qualification preferred.

🔹 Experience Requirements 🔹

1️⃣ Minimum 1-2 year as GIS Analyst with the PULSE Project (mandatory).

2️⃣ 3–7 years on job experience working on Land related GIS projects, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.

3️⃣ Team lead experience at PULSE Project preferred.

4️⃣ Strong command of ArcMap and modern GIS tools.
