Generative Ai Engineer

Description:

We're hiring a remote, contract AI Engineer to design and ship production AI agents and RAG systems for our clients and our own products. You'll work directly with our founders, own features end to end, and see your work go live with real users.

This is a remote contract role. We work with engineers anywhere in the world; applicants in Pakistan and nearby time zones are especially welcome.

What you'll do

• Build AI chatbots and agents with OpenAI, Claude and Gemini, using LangGraph or LangChain

• Design RAG pipelines: document ingestion, chunking, embeddings and vector search (Qdrant or similar)

• Build Python / FastAPI services and connect them to Next.js front ends

• Add tool calling, so agents can take actions in tools like CRMs, email and databases

• Evaluate and improve answer quality, latency and cost

• Ship safely: auth, secrets handling, logging and monitoring

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of Python experience, with at least one LLM app or agent shipped to real users

• Hands-on experience with RAG and vector databases

• Comfortable with REST APIs, Postgres and Docker

• Clear written English and reliable async communication

• Bonus: n8n automation, Next.js/TypeScript, AWS or Azure, Supabase
