A top pharmaceutical company is looking for a seasoned supply chain professional to take on the role of General Manager – Distribution. Key responsibilities are

•⁠ ⁠Full responsibility of the distribution function

•⁠ ⁠Functional plan and strategy preparation and implementation.

•⁠ ⁠Order cycle management

•⁠ ⁠Overseeing and implementing distribution, sales administration, and institutional sales policies.

•⁠ ⁠Management of order fulfillment, inventory control, and distributor stock levels.

•⁠ ⁠Demand planning, rolling forecasts, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

•⁠ ⁠Collaboration with Finance, Materials Management, and Sales & Marketing

•⁠ ⁠Territory mapping

•⁠ ⁠Distributor selection, replacement, and performance monitoring.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and contribute to strategic business planning.

Management skills

•⁠ ⁠Strong leadership and team management skills

•⁠ ⁠Excellent in stakeholder and customer management

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in order management, stock control, and distributor relations.

•⁠ ⁠Data-driven decision-making with expertise in SFE and CRM tools

•⁠ ⁠Ability to liaise effectively with multiple departments to streamline processes

Education: Masters’ in in Supply Chain Management or Logistics

Experience: 12 – 15 years of hands on experience in Distribution and Sales Administration with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a large-scale organization in the pharmaceutical industry
