Full-stack Wordpress Developer

Description:

7th Sky Software is seeking a talented Full-Stack WordPress Developer to join their growing team in Islamabad (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have 2.5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development. You will work on developing and maintaining WordPress plugins, including both free and premium versions, customizing plugin functionality, and solving real-world problems through web technology.

You will be responsible for debugging and fixing plugin-related issues, creating new plugin extensions, and collaborating closely with designers, support, and QA teams. The role will also involve working with REST APIs and AJAX-based interfaces, following best practices for WordPress coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress plugins, both free and premium

• Customize plugin functionality based on specific client requirements

• Create new plugin extensions and add-ons

• Debug and fix plugin-related issues and performance bottlenecks

• Work with REST APIs and AJAX-based interfaces

• Collaborate with designers, support, and QA teams

• Follow WordPress coding standards and best practices

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2.5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience

• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS

• Experience with custom plugin development

• Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and APIs

• Familiarity with MySQL and database management

• Experience with Git for version control

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have:

• WooCommerce plugin experience

• Familiarity with WPML or multilingual support

• Knowledge of Composer and modular code structure

• Understanding of licensing, updates, and premium plugin systems
