About the Role
Symufolk is building a next-generation robotics platform that transforms human demonstration videos into structured robot skills. This product will power our internal mapping tools — from video ingestion and labeling workflows to human validation of AI outputs and structured task mapping.
We are looking for a strong Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys building complex interactive systems that combine machine learning pipelines, human tooling, and real-world robotics workflows.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Design and implement front-end UX for complex annotation and validation workflows
▪️Build backend services for ML pipeline orchestration and human review loops
▪️Integrate third-party tools (Label Studio, storage systems, model endpoints)
▪️Design APIs for structured mapping data (objects, states, BAS, TAS)
▪️Optimize performance for large video assets and long-running jobs
▪️Collaborate closely with ML and robotics engineers on system design

Required Skills
▪️A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (16 years of formal education).
▪️4–6 years of industry experience
▪️Strong experience with React & TypeScript
▪️Backend development using Python, Node.js, or similar
▪️Experience building data-heavy or media-heavy applications
▪️Solid understanding of REST / GraphQL APIs
▪️Comfortable working in fast-moving, prototype-driven environments

Nice to Have
▪️Experience with video pipelines, streaming, or visualization systems
▪️Familiarity with ML workflows or annotation tooling
▪️Experience building internal tools or productivity platforms
▪️Interest in robotics, perception, or applied AI systems
