Frontend Software Developer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of software plugins for PowerSchool. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design software solutions, and implement efficient and reliable plugins within PowerSchool. Your expertise in software development will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

●     Design, develop, and test software plugins for PowerSchool using languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and Oracle, following best practices and coding standards.

●    Enhance and maintain existing PowerSchool plugins by identifying and resolving bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.

●    Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to optimize plugin functionality, performance, and security.

●   Keep up-to-date with the latest PowerSchool features, updates, and industry trends, and apply that knowledge to improve the functionality and user experience of the plugins.

●    Document plugin development processes, specifications, and guidelines for future reference.

Qualifications:

●   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

●  3+ years of experience in the software industry

●   Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, or familiarity with related frameworks and libraries

●   Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX) and familiarity with Angular framework is a plus.

● Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
